In business, having both credibility and visibility is a powerful combination. And it is a combination that I use to position my clients as the expert in their industry. This is PR for pioneering companies.

The property market is a huge state of flux, with new challenger brands setting up in large quantities. As people buy people, an OptimHome estate agent approached me to increase her local profile. A regionally focused SOAPBOX product worked well, increasing her market share.
OptimHome is a new approach to the estate agency business where the shop window is replaced by an industry leading internet presence and the personal touch.
Initially, I was brought in to work with the London city network to support a membership drive through increased awareness in local, national and social media. For PWN Global, what they really needed was to get the basics right, so the PRHQ was the right service for them. More recently, I have helped PWN Global promote international events, as well as rebranding of the network.
PWN Global is a networking and leadership development platform for professional women of all sectors and industries across the world. It has nearly 3,000 members in a community of 24 city networks.
Through the tactics outlined in the SOAPBOX services, I’ve worked closely with founder Dr. Bill Nichols, positioning him as an expert commentator in all things reputation management to drive awareness of and interest in his consultancy Astrophel.
Astrophel works with CXO level PR teams to improve company performance, particularly around retention, business development and IP/trend research for major campaigns.
I was approached by Localoids to help create buzz around the new product ahead of its launch in Summer 2014. As a bootstrapping startup, I founder Prash wanted to build the foundation of PR tactics into his business, so through THE SCRIPT, I supported him in creating the perfect comms plan for his business.
Localoids is a platform for international travellers, to bring people everywhere closer together through exchanging skills/knowledge, travel experiences and language.
Seedrs approached me to work on a project to increase the average investment made on the site. With this very focused brief, I used the SOAPBOX product to increase awareness of equity crowd funding within high paying professional communities, such as legal, accounting and finance.
Seedrs is an online platform for discovering and investing in great startups.
Thesis Asset Management tasked me with promoting their brand within the financial adviser market. I carried out a very successful SOAPBOX campaign, culminating in a front cover splash and six page spread of Thesis’ CEO, Michael Lally, his experience and his investment style in Citywire Wealth Manager.
Thesis Asset Management manages and advises on £7 bn of funds, and invests on behalf of private clients, charities, pension funds and trusts. Thesis specialises in developing investment partnerships with professionals in financial advice, investment, law, accountancy and tax, and creates bespoke solutions and centralised investment propositions.
Alongside the services I offer direct to clients, I work very successfully with other agencies, supporting their current teams. Without going into too much detail, I’ve provided Man Bites Dog with detailed background information on clients they are going in to talk to about new business. Being briefed on previous media work and company history is crucial for any communications agency.
Man Bites Dog specialises in communications for the service economy: turning knowledge and expertise into stories.
With a number of companies under its control, Hughes Armstrong approached me to support the growth of their companies through my PRHQ service.
Hughes Armstrong Industries acquires or invests in under-performing British manufacturing companies.
As my sister agency, I work very closely with Fanatica to support their clients. We’ve worked on many projects where I am white labeled as their PR department, an arrangement that has worked extremely well. Aside from providing THE SCRIPT, SOAPBOX, PRHQ and PEDESTAL services to their clients, we’ve also worked on direct marketing campaigns, product development, branding, website re-launches, logo design and event projects together.
Jo and Al at Fanatica bring their big agency experience of working with firms like SAP and Dassault Systems to smaller B2B clients. The rest of the time, they bake cakes and walk their dogs.
